A new spy-themed BBQ joint arrived in Richardson on December 11, 2025. Secret Agent BBQ Catering and To Go has officially opened its first brick-and-mortar storefront, bringing smoked meats, handmade sides, and a playful spy-inspired concept to 1980 Nantucket Dr., Ste. 103.
The menu focuses on barbecue fundamentals, offering tender brisket, fall-off-the-bone ribs, turkey breast, smoked chicken, and pulled pork, all paired with handmade sides that round out the meal.
Founded by pitmaster Ian Fleming, whose name is perfectly suited for the theme, Secret Agent BBQ has built a strong audience through catering and a full mobile kitchen before getting its permanent location. Fleming’s signature dish is brisket mac and cheese, a comfort-food favorite layered with smoky brisket and rich, creamy pasta that quickly became a customer favorite. The dish unites classic Texas barbecue and indulgent home cooking.
With its roots in catering and a loyal fan base already in place, the new storefront marks the next chapter for this fun BBQ concept that provides a twist on authentic Texas BBQ techniques, secret rubs, and made-from-scratch sides. The BBQ joint caters for corporate events, weddings, and private gatherings, as well as serves at local events.
