Plano Wins New Pizza Hotspot with Made-From-Scratch Pies

Plano’s expanding pizza scene just got a fresh new option called Pizza Guys, stemming from the West Coast. The California-born chain known for its bold flavors and made-from-scratch pies has officially opened its first Texas location at 9613 Coit Road, Suite 109.

The is the beginning of a Texas chapter for a brand that built its reputation on quality, creativity, and community. Founded in Sacramento back in 1986, Pizza Guys grew from a single neighborhood shop into a regional favorite across California and Nevada, growing to 100 locations. Now, 40 years later, it’s making its Texas debut, and it chose Plano as its first Lone Star state location.

At Pizza Guys, every dough ball is made fresh daily, their mozzarella is 100 percent whole milk, and their tomato sauce is made from vine-ripened California tomatoes.

It’s the toppings that will amaze customers. Pizza lovers will find classics like pepperoni and margherita, but also globally inspired creations like the Spicy Curry Pizza and a Serrano Chili Pizza loaded with bacon, pineapple, and cilantro. There’s even a Texas BBQ Pizza, which celebrates the chain’s new home state, layered with chicken, smoky bacon, red onions, and spicy BBQ drizzle. Try the large one-topping heart-shaped pizza, or one of the many other creative pizza varieties, from Tuscan Garlic Chicken to the Crunchy Club. Add in flatbreads, creamy pastas, cheesy calzones, salad, crispy wings, and delicious mashed potato jalapeño poppers from the large list of menu options.

The Plano restaurant is owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Ramandeep Singh and Ranjeet Klair, who both come from food service backgrounds and share a passion for hospitality. For them, Pizza Guys isn’t just about pizza, it’s about people and the community.
