Downtown Garland keeps adding great reasons to dine out, and the newest one comes from Richardson’s Lockwood Distilling Co., which opened a fresh gastropub concept on Main Street, introducing its house-made spirits and Southern-inspired menu to a continuously expanding dining district.
The large space, which once housed an arcade, has been transformed into a warm, casual hangout built around cocktails, Southern cuisine, and good times. While longtime fans know Lockwood for its working distillery in Richardson, this location shifts the focus toward hospitality, and the Garland venue acts as a showcase for Lockwood’s spirits.
The bar program will offer everything from spirit flights to frozen drinks. Expect plenty of options built around the brand’s signature bourbon and gin, alongside familiar bar favorites for guests who prefer to keep things simple.
The kitchen sticks to hearty, delicious flavors. Think elevated bar bites, shareable starters, and plates that pair easily with a cocktail, such as a quarter smoked bologna muffuletta, shrimp and grits, Crawfish Monica, and more.

The Garland opening marks another chapter in the company’s regional expansion, following its Richardson flagship and McKinney location. Lockwood’s Garland arrival adds another locally driven brand to a lineup that already attracts food-focused visitors from across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
After an initial soft opening on February 18, 2026, Lockwood will expand hours of operation soon. For now, this neighborhood spot is built around craft spirits, familiar Southern flavors, and Garland’s evolving food scene.
