Lancaster, Get Ready to Bite into Burgerlicious

Have a craving for mouthwatering burgers, over-the-top fries, and a lemonade bar that is full of vibrant and fruity flavors? Burgerlicious is opening at the end of September in Lancaster at 3216 W. Pleasant Run Road. It’s the second Burgerlicious location, following the hit location opened in Lewisville last year.

Back in 2018, Burgerlicious started as a food truck in Austin that gained a fan following for delicious gourmet burgers, fries, and a crazy-good lemonade bar. By 2021, owners Gerald and Vernetta Person ditched the truck and relocated to Lewisville where they opened their first restaurant. Now they’re rolling into Lancaster.

The Lancaster location will be take-out only. This joint doesn’t just serve any kind of burger and fries. Presenting the King G Burger, which is the signature burger, with one-third pound all-beef patty, bacon, grilled onions, two kinds of cheese, lettuce, ketchup, and a brioche bun. There’s the Delicious burger with one-third pound all-beef patty, Jack cheese, tomato, sauce, lettuce, grilled onions, and a toasted brioche bun. The Shroom Swiss Burger has one-third pound all-beef patty, grilled mushrooms, grilled onions, Swiss cheese, and garlic aioli on a toasted brioche bun. The burger joint also offers turkey and veggie burgers, as well as shareable snacks like spicy fried pickles, onion rings, and more.

There’s nothing like the loaded up French fries, such as the King G Fries topped with bacon, Jack cheese, sauce, Ranch dressing, grilled onions, grilled jalapeños, and garlic jalapeño seasoning.

With more than 100 lemonade flavors, the lemonade bar is what truly sets Burgerlicious apart. Good luck deciding which one to try first. There’s Pink Drank (watermelon and strawberry), Cotton Candy, Purple Haze (grape), Piña Colada Pineapple, Peach fuzz, The Hurricane (lime, orange, and passion fruit juices), and more. All drinks are fresh squeezed.
