Rayne Dakota Prescott, known professionally as Dak Prescott, officially joined the ranks of “Texan” when he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the 4th round of the 2016 NFL Draft. After serving as backup quarterback, Prescott officially became the Cowboys starting quarterback when Tony Romo was injured during preseason which catapulted him into the burning spotlight of passionate Cowboys fans and national Sports media. He has since earned recognition for his on-field success and off-field good deeds.

During his first year as the starting quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys, he set a handful of rookie quarterback records, was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, and was selected for the Pro Bowl. 

Currently, Dak Prescott resides in Frisco, TX.
