Due to the devastating floods that swept through Kerr County over the July 4 weekend, the Fredericksburg Food & Wine Festival is channeling its summer programming into a meaningful cause. What was originally planned as a series of lead-up events for the main festival in October has now become a full-fledged fundraiser to support flood relief efforts in the Hill Country.
Preview Week, running July 21ā27, will now donate 100% of ticket and event proceeds to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, managed by the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country. This fund was established to assist with rescue, recovery, and rebuilding efforts in the hardest-hit areas, including Kerrville, Ingram, Hunt, Center Point, and Comfort.
Preview Week offers seven days of events, but the festive lineup will be about standing together to support the floodās impact.
The following Hill Country businessesā and organizationsā will make this fundraising week possible: Alla Campagna, Women For WineSense, Rustic Spur Vineyards, Michael Ros Winery, Hilmy Cellars, Barelle Vineyards and Pedernales Cellars, Becker Vineyards, Dietz Distillery, Mystic Lobster Roll, Fischer & Wieser, Das Peach Haus and Bevvy Group, Mesquite at The Warehouse and Ferris & Fletch, Slate Theory Winery and Austin Silent Disco, Albert Hotel, The Saloon & DJ Cassandra, Grand Central at Milam, Los Juanos Band, Leroyās Tex Mex BBQ, Emiās on Austin, Hill & Vine, Hondoās, Belly Up Brew Pub, Los Tios and Fresh Pickinās, Halter Ranch, El Quincho and Revel Kitchen + Catering.
