Dallas foodies, get excited for the opening of Le PasSage, a sleek and sophisticated restaurant nestled by the Katy Trail at The Terminal. Slated to open on October 18, 2024, Le PasSage brings a unique fusion of French Asian taste and elegance to the cityās ever-growing restaurant scene.
Designed to blend seamlessly into the natural surroundings, the restaurant’s luxurious dining room, created by Austin architect Michael Hsu, will resemble the Orient Express, boasting floor-to-ceiling windows that invite natural light into a modern, minimalistic space. The name “Le PasSage” plays on the concept of a passageway, leading diners through a journey of taste and experience. The restaurant takes inspiration from the vibrant cultures of France and Southeast Asia.
The dishes combine the delicate techniques of classic French cuisine with bold Texas flavors, using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. Expect dishes like truffle-infused brisket, Peking duck, Chinese baby back ribs, Cambodian ravioli, Texas quail confit, and foie gras tacos served with a smoky mezcal reduction.
For seafood lovers, the raw bar offers fresh Gulf oysters paired with a selection of mignonettes infused with Southwestern spices. And for dessert, a must-try is the whiskey pecan crĆØme brĆ»lĆ©e, a Texas twist on the French classic. For dessert, don’t miss the Yogurt and Mushroom, an exceptional ice cream and porcini caramel dish.
Vegetarians can find delicious dishes here as well, like braised tofu with black shiitake mushrooms or the steamed Japanese eggplant.
Le PasSage serves dinner seven days a week and lunch/brunch on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Reservations are recommended and can be made on the website at https://lepassagedallas.com/.
