Habibi BBQ, a new food truck in Arlington situated at the Ghost Food Park, serves some of Arlington’s best new barbecue. Owner Marc Fadel has focused on honing his skills and talents over the last two years, perfecting his rubs and recipes and blending traditional flavors with bold new twists. At the same time, Fadel became a savvy entrepreneur by starting the food truck, which is an amazing feat considering he is only 19 years old and still studying at the University of Texas. His close-knit Lebanese family has helped finance and fund Fadel’s venture.

The food truck is only open on Friday nights and Saturdays because of Fadel’s school schedule. On Friday nights, the barbecue truck serves smoked chicken quarters, melt-in-your-mouth candy pork belly burnt ends, and the popular Habibi smash burger. To taste the spread of Lebanese craft barbecue, visit the food truck on Saturdays, 11 a.m., until everything is sold out.

Guests can also try the Lebanese Spiced Prime Brisket, Pulled Pork, Pork Spare Ribs, and Sliced Brisket Sandwich, as well as sides like Lebanese rice, tabbouleh, and garlic potatoes.

The young owner rotates his menu often to offer delicious Lebanese food and flavors that all come from his heart and his family traditions.
