Fort Redemption, an exciting new American restaurant, has settled in west Fort Worth with its new home at 5724 Locke Avenue. Customers can find an upscale dining experience in a transformed space formerly occupied by Mariachi’s Dine-In and Mariposa’s Latin Kitchen.
Owner and chef Tony Chaudhry is a food veteran with 25 years of experience in Fort Worth’s high-end dining scene. Four years ago, Fort Redemption began as a food truck, gaining a fan base over three years for delicious burgers and barbecue. The new brick-and-mortar location has enabled Chaudhry to expand his culinary offerings beyond the mobile kitchen. Guests will enjoy the sophisticated ambiance with a purple and gold color scheme, mid-century-style furnishings, and elegant floral arrangements, creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.

The menu at Fort Redemption focuses on smoked meats and brunch classics. Don’t miss some signature items, such as the 16-ounce rib-eye steak, rack of lamb with mashed potatoes, ahi tuna salad with honey lemon vinaigrette, grilled salmon, and beef tenderloin. Chaudhry’s unique approach to steak includes a bourbon-infused sauce blended with smoked brisket juices, offering a distinctive twist on traditional flavors.
The restaurant offers an upscale menu, but customers can find options from its food truck days, like the brisket sandwich, offered during lunch hours. Weekend brunches feature dishes like steak and eggs, salmon Benedict and tenderloin with eggs, waffle, breakfast tacos, and more that caters to a variety of tastes. For lunch, customers can order a half pound of brisket, chicken enchiladas, brisket sandwich, mixed green salad, and more. A full bar complements the dining experience, serving a fine selection of wines, beers, and cocktails.
